Freeman pulls off early in Deep Fried 75 with Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series
Making the haul to Tennessee on Saturday afternoon, Payton Freeman was one of 39 Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series competitors at Duck River Raceway Park (Wheel, Tenn.) for the Deep Fried 75.
In a stout field of 39 Late Models, Payton qualified a strong third-fastest in his group before recording a runner-up finish in his heat. Rolling off in the sixth-position for the 75-lap main event, Freeman was running inside the Top-10 when he was forced to pull off with mechanical issues. He was scored 22nd.
