Four young SLM drivers whose progression is worth watching in 2022
Payton Freeman of Commerce, Georgia made the decision at the beginning of the 2021 season to purse 'Rookie of the Year' honors on the Southern All-Star Dirt Racing Series regional tour. By the end of the campaign, the 19-year-old driver had done much more than that. Not only did the claim the RoY award, but he also took the overall series championship.
