Payton Freeman attends Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series season opener at I-75 Raceway

Kicking off his title chase on Saturday afternoon, Payton Freeman was one of 44 Super Late Models checked in with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series at I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tenn.) for the $20,000-to-win season opener.

Finishing sixth in a heat race, Freeman lost ground in his Last Chance Qualifier and did not make the 50-lap feature.
