Freeman Payton opens up 2025 season with Southern Thunder at Screven

Kicking off his racing season over the weekend, Payton Freeman joined the Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series for their debut weekend at Screven Motor Speedway (Sylvania, Ga.) for the 15th-annual Winter Freeze.

With 35 Late Models in the pit area, Freeman made both shows on Friday and Saturday with finishes of 20th and 18th respectively.
