Payton Freeman follows Hunt The Front Super Dirt Series at Magnolia
After's Friday opener washed out due to rain, Payton Freeman entered his No. F1 into Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series competition on Saturday afternoon for the Governor's Cup.
With 45 Late Models in the pit area, Freeman recorded a runner-up finish in his heat which earned him an eighth-place starting position. For the $10,000-to-win main event, Payton was picking off competitors through the field when his car bicycled in turn one causing him to flip wildly multiple times. Payton was not hurt and was scored 12th in the final rundown.
