Payton Freeman lands eighth-place finish at Whynot Motorsports Park with HTF Series
Payton Freeman was one of 45 Super Late Model drivers at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Miss.) on Friday afternoon for night one of the House of Hook Showdown with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series.
Freeman clocked in seventh-fastest in his qualifying group and finished second in his heat race which earned him a third-row starting spot in the $8,000-to-win feature. Payton raced to a Top-10 finish in eighth.
Saturday's $12,000-to-win finale was rained out.
Freeman made the haul to East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Ala.) on Saturday and recorded a 22nd-place finish in the $10,053-to-win feature.
