Payton Freeman takes on Cochran Motor Speedway with Hunt the Front
On Saturday afternoon, Payton Freeman was one of 27 Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series Late Models entered into the event at Cochran Motor Speedway (Cochran, Ga.).
Following the ninth-fastest lap in his group, Payton earned a spot in the feature event with a fourth-place finish in his heat race. With $10,000 on the line, Freeman ran inside the Top-10 before making contact with another competitor which forced him to pull in with a flat tire. He was scored 18th in the final rundown.
