Freeman bounces back with fourth-place finish at Swainsboro
With a rough outing at Magnolia last weekend behind him, Payton Freeman returned to the driver's seat of his Freeman Plumbing No. F1 on Friday afternoon at Swainsboro Raceway (Swainsboro, Ga.) with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series.
Following the seventh-fastest lap in his group, Payton transferred to the A-Main with a third-place finish in his heat. For the $10,000-to-win main event, Freeman moved forward five spots to finish just off a podium finish in fourth.
Saturday's $10,044 event at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Ga.) was rained out.
