Freeman Competes with WoO at Senoia

Payton Freeman returned to the driver's seat on Saturday night at Senoia (Ga.) Raceway with a $10,000-to-win event with the World of Outlaws (WoO) Morton Buildings Late Model Series.

With 32 entries on hand, Payton laid down the third-fastest time in his group in qualifying, and went on to finish third in his heat race to lock into the 10th-starting spot for the night's 40-lap finale.

Unfortunately, he would be an early retiree to a 24th-place finish.
