Fifth-place outing in Toilet Bowl Classic finale at Clarksville Speedway
With Mother Nature washing out the first Tuckassee Toilet Bowl Classic weekend, Payton Freeman invaded Clarksville (Tenn.) Speedway on Friday afternoon for the opening round of the postponed event.
Among 28 Late Models checked in, Freeman struggled in his heat race and did not make it out in time for his B-Main.
Looking for a better night on Saturday, Payton picked it up in qualifying before finishing runner-up in his heat race. Rolling off fifth in the second $10,000-to-win feature of the weekend, Freeman crossed the line in fifth trailing Max Blair, Ashton Winger, Tanner English, and Dennis Erb Jr.
